From The Pastor
Greetings from Most Holy Trinity! Since I arrived at MHT in the summer of 2008 I have come to appreciate this vibrant faith-filled community. Established back in 1943, our parish spent some 63 years of its existence supporting a Catholic grade school. Sadly, and after a great deal of sacrifice, MHT closed its parish school in June of 2008. These past months have been a time of transition as the parish searched for a new identity. I am happy to report that we are well on our way to establishing "life after our school." Yes, there have been some families who have left our parish to join a church with a school; and yet, there are also families who recognize that MHT can exist and blossom without the responsibility of a school. Our present plan is to allow a Minnesota state charter school to utilize our facility. The expected rent will allow us to update our facility and pay off our debts --- YEAH! In addition, we can continue to support our many other ministries --- social justice, whole parish faith formation, liturgy, and much much more. Yes, I believe that MHT has a bright future! You are welcome to come join us for worship --- see our Mass schedule for days and times --- or simply drop by for a visit anytime. Feel welcome to ask any parishioner why they belong to MHT and what they like about our community. You will marvel at the strength and depth of their commitment to our parish. Therefore, if you are looking for a Roman Catholic Church of moderate size (i.e., as of September 2009 we have 470 registered parish families), then I invite you to come check us out. We are always looking to welcome a few more faith-filled families to our ranks. Sincerely, Fr. Brian J. Fier
